Sales Tax

We are located in Sausalito, California. By state law, we are required to collect state sales tax as well as any county discretionary taxes for all purchases made from this web site that are shipped to destinations within the state of California. For simplification purposes, all orders shipping to California destinations will have the California state sales tax + the county tax applied (totaling 8%) and we will pay any county discretionary taxes owed.

Shipments going to anywhere other than California will not be charged sales tax. Customers living in areas that impose duties, taxes or other surcharges are responsible for knowing the laws of their regions pertaining to those surcharges, taxes or duties and for paying those fees themselves in whatever manner is customary in those locales.
