CARB Approved Log Splitters

CARB refers to an environmental protection agency named the California Air Resources Board. Their focus is on the emissions that are associated with small power equipment engines, such as those used in log splitters.  CARB compliant products have engines that meet more stringent air quality standards. 

If your state requires compliance for Gas Powered equipment, confirm that your splitterl is CARB certified before you buy.  While CARB Compliant models run cleaner than non-compliant models, they still emit some pollutants.   Currently, CA residents are not permitted to buy non-CARB Compliant Models.
